INTRODUCTION TO THE COMBAT HANDGUN

This 9 hour course is designed to teach the student proper practice techniques for proficiency in real-life carry scenarios. Students are encouraged to participate using the handguns they intend to carry. The course includes safe speed draw and holstering, proper operation of single or double action semi-automatic pistols, learning to activate and deactivate the manual safety on pistols so designed, speed reloading, tactical reloading and coping with pistol malfunctions. Two handed techniques including the Weaver, Chapman and Isoceles Turret will be covered as well as point shooting and rapid target acquisition. Ideal for the novice or experienced shooter. Student will need 250 rounds of factory ammo and 100 rounds of lead ammo. Over thirty state-of-the-art combat techniques will be applied; techniques which will offer the student every advantage in real-life carry scenarios. ISI policy invites students to return to class for HALF TUITION after initial class (student provides ammo). Confirmations and directions will be sent.

Students are required to bring:

• A good quality handgun
• Strong-side waist holster
  (No clip-on holsters, No inside the pant holsters, No shoulder holsters)
• 2 extra magazines for appropriate semi-autos

• Eye and Ear protection is mandatory

• Strong waist belt mandatory - Baseball Cap mandatory
• Cleaning Equipment
